Abstract

An impact-absorbing structure 2 is disposed in a closed sectional space 3 of the side sill 1. The impact-absorbing structure 2 includes a cross-section hollow member 4 that is provided along a vehicle front-rear direction in the closed sectional space 3 so as to vertically partition the closed sectional space 3, and a bulkhead 6 that is provided along a vehicle width direction in a closed sectional space 5 of the cross-section hollow member 4, so as to partition the closed sectional space 5, in a plurality of locations spaced apart in a vehicle longitudinal direction in the closed sectional space 5. The bulkhead 6 is joined to an inner wall of the cross-section hollow member 4.
