Abstract

Patient transport compartment (2) for use in a passenger cabin (1) of an airplane, the compartment having an aisle side (4) that is wider than the length of a stretcher, the aisle side comprising a wall section (5) and an entrance (6), that is in top view at an obtuse angle α with the wall section (5). The entrance (6) of the compartment (2), in particular its window (18), can be placed in a sight line (S) from a cabin crew seat (22).
