Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel isoxazole compound as a TM4SF5-specific inhibitor and a use thereof and, more specifically, to: a novel isoxazole compound, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound, wherein the isoxazole compound inhibits immune checkpoint functions by downregulating the expression of TM4SF5 protein, suppressing protein-protein binding, inhibiting signal transduction activation, or activating the killing activity of T and NK immune cells or controlling the distribution of the immune cells. Specifically, with the ability to inhibit immune checkpoints of NK cells, the TM4SF5-specific isoxazole compound of the present invention can be advantageously used as an inhibitor against liver diseases or liver cancer.
