Abstract
A polyester resin according to one embodiment comprises regenerated bis(2-hydroxyethyl)terephthalate obtained by means of depolymerization of waste polyester, and the content of acetaldehyde is controlled to be within a predetermined range. The polyester resin according to the embodiment has excellent quality such as heat resistance and color while being polymerized using a regenerated monomer. In addition, provided is an article comprising the polyester resin according to the embodiment.
