Abstract
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a rubber composition having excellent kneadability as well as having exceptional physical properties, such as hardness and tensile properties, after crosslinking. A rubber composition according to the present invention contains a rubber component and fine fibrous cellulose having a fiber width of 1,000 nm or less. The rubber composition has a water content of 15% or lower. In a sheet composed of the rubber composition, the value obtained by dividing the piercing strength (N) by the thickness (mm) is 3 N/mm or greater. Additionally, in a sheet composed of the rubber composition, the value obtained by dividing the piercing elongation (mm) by the thickness (mm) is 400 or less.
