Abstract
Provided are a microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium having an ability to produce an L-amino acid, into which an NAD-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase protein derived from Streptococcus mutans or a polynucleotide encoding the same is introduced; a method of producing an L-amino acid, the method comprising the step of culturing the microorganism in a medium; a composition for producing an L-amino acid, the composition comprising the microorganism, a culture of the microorganism, a fermentation product of the microorganism, or a combination of two or more thereof; and use of the microorganism in producing an L-amino acid.
