Abstract

The invention relates to a support system for supporting a facade element relative to a wall, wherein the support system comprises a facade support for supporting the facade element in a support plane and one or more consoles for mounting the facade support relative to the wall,wherein the facade support is substantially Z-shaped and comprises a central part, and a support flange and a seating flange that project away from the central part at opposite sides of the central part,wherein the facade support is provided with a plurality of receiving slots that extend through the seating flange, wherein each of the one or more consoles comprises one or more hooks that protrude in a direction normal to the seating plane, and wherein each hook is arranged to be received in a respective one of the receiving slots for retaining the seating flange in the projection direction.
