Abstract

An electric compressor (50) comprises: a motor housing (60) including a motor chamber (6 1) that houses a motor (100); a rear head (70) including an intermediate pressure chamber (71) that houses a two-stage compression mechanism (110); and a dividing block (80) that is held between the motor housing (60) and the rear head (70), and partitions the motor c hamber (61) from the intermediate pressure chamber (71). The dividing block (80) includes : an injection inlet (151) through which an injection gas refrigerant can be introduced; an injection outlet (152) through which the injection gas refrigerant can be introduced to the i ntermediate pressure chamber (71); and an injection passage (153) that provides communica tion between the injection inlet (151) and the injection outlet (152).
