Abstract
The present invention relates to a navigation system and a method for marking points of interest. The method includes monitoring voice commands within the vehicle cabin; performing speech recognition on the voice commands to determine their content; and marking points of interest on the navigation map based on attributes of the voice commands, the command content, and the vehicle state.
