Abstract
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for measuring a biomolecule is provided. The method comprises: providing a recognition unit comprising a conductive polymer and a molecular recognition pH indicator that acts as a dopant for the conductive polymer and recognizes a target biomolecule; introducing a sample containing the target biomolecule to the recognition unit; measuring an electrical property of the conductive polymer based on a reaction between the target biomolecule and the molecular recognition pH indicator that occurs when the target biomolecule is introduced; and determining an amount of the target biomolecule in the sample based on the measured electrical property.
