Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for detecting exosomes in a sample comprising providing the exosome in an aqueous solution; interacting the exosome with at least one first interactor molecule, wherein the interaction yields a complex comprising both the exosome and the first interactor molecule; interacting the complex of the previous step with at least a second interactor molecule linked to a chemiluminescent dye; interacting the complex of the previous step with a substrate or a bead and thereby immobilizing it; performing a washing step; identifying the complex of the previous step by performing a chemiluminescent reaction, wherein the identification results in a chemiluminescent emission of photons; and detecting the emission of photons. Also envisaged is a corresponding kit for detecting exosomes in a sample.
