Abstract

Embodiments of this application provide a method for displaying an application interface, an electronic device, and a related medium, and the method is applied to an electronic device. The electronic device includes an outer screen, and a camera is disposed on the outer screen. The method includes: displaying a first interface on the outer screen, where the first interface includes a target control of a target application; receiving a first operation instruction applied to the target control; determining a display parameter of a layer set corresponding to the first operation instruction based on configuration information of the target application; displaying a second interface on the outer screen based on the display parameter in response to the first operation instruction, where the second interface includes a first display area and a second display area, an application layer is displayed in the second display area, and a decorative layer and a background layer are displayed in the first display area. By implementing the method in this application, the decorative layer may be selectively presented to a user with reference to different operation scenarios and configuration information of different applications. In addition to improving adaptation of the decorative layer to the different applications, various application interfaces presented to the user are more uniform and aesthetic.
