Abstract

Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method, an apparatus, a device, and a storage medium for page switching. In response to a page switching operation triggered by a user, first content corresponding to a first page and second content corresponding to a second page are obtained. The page switching is to switch from the first page to the second page. The first content and the second content are rendered. In a process of displaying the first content, a rendering progress of the second content is obtained. The first page is switched to the second page based on the rendering progress. According to the method for page switching provided by the embodiments of the disclosure, the problem of abnormal display caused by switching from the first page to the second page before the content of the second page has been fully rendered can be prevented, smooth and fluid switching between pages can be ensured, and page switching reliability and page display effect can be improved.
