Abstract
A palmprint recognition method and apparatus, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a palm image, and segmenting the palm image into a plurality of palmprint region images which do not overlap (310); extracting respective palmprint line features of the plurality of palmprint region images (320); for each palmprint line feature, acquiring first position relationship information between the palmprint region image corresponding to the palmprint line feature and the palmprint region image corresponding to an adjacent palmprint line feature of the palmprint line feature, and on the basis of the palmprint line feature and the first position relationship information, calculating a first importance score corresponding to the palmprint line feature (S330); determining a plurality of first significant palmprint line features among all the palmprint line features on the basis of the first importance scores (S340); and performing palmprint recognition on the basis of the plurality of first significant palmprint line features to obtain a palmprint recognition result (S350).
