Abstract
The present invention relates to an electrode including an electrode active material layer including an electrode active material, a conductive material, and a binder, wherein the electrode active material has a specific surface area of 10 m<sup>2</sup>/g to 50 m<sup>2</sup>/g, and the electrode active material layer has an A, defined by factors including input amounts of the electrode active material and the conductive material in the electrode, an loading amount and a specific surface area of the electrode active material, and a specific surface area and an average particle diameter of the conductive material, of 0.70 cm<sup>2</sup>µm/mg or greater, and may achieve an electrode having a large loading amount and low resistance, thereby providing a secondary battery having excellent capacity characteristics and improved resistance characteristics.
