Abstract

A composite positive electrode active material having excellent or suitable adhesiveness and electronic conductivity (e.g., electrical conductivity) and a positive electrode including the composite positive electrode active material are disclosed. The composite positive electrode active material may include an active material core and a graphene coating layer coated on the active material core. The graphene coating layer may partially coat the surface of the active material core. The graphene coating layer may include graphene having a surface modified with an adhesive material.
