Abstract

An anode for a lithium secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is provided an anode current collector; a first anode mixture layer formed on at least one surface of the anode current collector and comprising a first carbon-based active material comprising artificial graphite and natural graphite; and a second anode mixture layer formed on the first anode mixture layer and comprising a second carbon-based active material comprising artificial graphite, wherein the first anode mixture layer and the second anode mixture layer respectively comprise a silicon-based active material, and wherein the first anode mixture layer has an OI value according to Formula 1 that is greater than the OI value of the second anode mixture layer. OI=I004/I110 (In Formula 1, OI is a crystal orientation index according to an XRD measurement, I<sub>004</sub> is the peak intensity of the (004) plane when the XRD measurement is performed for an anode mixture layer, and I<sub>110</sub> is the peak intensity of the (110) plane when the XRD measurement is performed for the mixture layer.)
