Abstract

The present application provides a positive electrode material for a lithium secondary battery, a preparation method of the positive electrode material, a positive electrode plate, a secondary battery, a use method of a secondary battery, and a power consuming apparatus. The positive electrode material for a lithium secondary battery of the present application includes a matrix and a modifier disposed on a surface of the matrix. The matrix includes Li<x>A<s>Mn<1-s>P<1-z>C<z>O<4>, where 0<x≤1.1, 0<s≤1, 0≤z≤0.1, A includes one or more elements selected from Ti, V, Zr, Fe, Ni, Mg, Co, Ga, Sn, Sb, Nb, and Ge, and C includes one or more elements selected from B (boron), S, Si, and N. The modifier includes Li<y>MO<d>, where 1<y≤6, 1<d≤4, and M includes one or more elements selected from Ni, Co, Fe, Mn, Zn, Mg, Ca, Cu, Sn, Mo, Ru, Ir, V, Nb, and Cr.
