Abstract

Provided are a positive electrode active material and a preparation method therefor, a secondary battery, and an electric device. The positive electrode active material includes a particle containing lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide. In a range of a distance L extending from the surface of the particle to the interior of the particle along the radial direction of the particle, the mass concentration of Co gradually increases from the interior of the particle to the surface of the particle along the radial direction of the particle, where L= 1 µm.
