Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide a means for obtaining an all-solid-state battery excellent in both capacity and rapid charge characteristics. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing an all-solid-state battery in which a power generating element is sealed inside a battery outer casing body, the power generating element including: a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material layer containing a positive electrode active material and a first solid electrolyte; a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material layer containing a negative electrode active material; and a solid electrolyte layer interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode and containing a second solid electrolyte, the manufacturing method including: a chemical conversion step including a step of initially charging the power generating element in an inert gas atmosphere; and a step of sealing the power generating element inside the battery outer casing body under reduced pressure after the chemical conversion step.
