Abstract
The present invention provides a lithium secondary battery having improved high-temperature cycle characteristics. Specifically, the present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and an electrolyte, and provides a lithium secondary battery wherein: the positive electrode comprises lithium iron phosphate as a positive electrode active material; the loading amount of the positive electrode is 32 mg/cm<2> to 60 mg/cm<2>; the electrolyte comprises a lithium salt, a first organic solvent, a second organic solvent, a first additive, and a second additive; the first organic solvent is a cyclic lactone compound; the second organic solvent is a carbonate organic solvent; the first additive is lithium nitrate (LiNO<3>); and the second additive is a sulfonylimide compound.
