Abstract

The present invention provides a lithium secondary battery having improved high-temperature cycle characteristics. In detail, the present invention relates to, and provides a lithium secondary battery including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and an electrolyte, wherein the positive electrode includes lithium iron phosphate, a loading amount of the positive electrode is from 32 mg/cm<2> to 60 mg/cm<2>, the electrolyte includes a first organic solvent, a second organic solvent, a first additive, and a second additive, the first organic solvent is a cyclic lactone compound, the second organic solvent is a carbonate organic solvent, the first additive is lithium nitrate (LiNO<3>), and the second additive is a sulfonylimide compound.
