Abstract
The present disclosure relates to an electrode assembly and a secondary battery including the same, and more specifically, to an electrode assembly and a secondary battery including the same that may enable good electrolyte impregnation near the center part of the electrode assembly where compressive stress is high, thereby suppressing lithium deposition and thus controlling a phenomenon where the swelling of the electrode assembly is accelerated, and furthermore, may ultimately suppress the risk of rupture and abnormal heating behavior in the battery case.
