Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a device and a method for detecting an internal resistance of a battery (20). An internal resistance detection device (10) according to embodiments includes: a measuring device (12) configured to measure a state value of a battery (20); and a control device (13) configured to determine a state of charge (SOC) of the battery (20) based on the state value, estimate a lithium ion distribution state within a positive electrode active material of the battery (20) based on the SOC, determine a detection section depending on the lithium ion distribution state, and determine an internal resistance value of the battery (20) based on the state value measured within the detection section.
