Abstract

Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a battery cell, a battery, an electric apparatus, and an energy storage device. The battery cell comprises a casing and an electrode assembly, wherein the casing comprises a casing body and an end cap, the casing body being provided with an opening and comprising a first wall, the first wall comprising a first opening portion and a first body portion, which are distributed in sequence in a first direction, the first direction being parallel to the thickness direction of the end cap, the first body portion being far away from the opening relative to the first opening portion, and the end cap being connected to the first opening portion and sealing the opening; and the electrode assembly is arranged in the casing body and comprises a negative electrode sheet, the negative electrode sheet comprising a negative electrode active material, the negative electrode active material comprising a silicon-based material, and the maximum thickness of the first opening portion being greater than the thickness of the first body portion. On the basis of the technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present application, the reliability of the battery can be improved.
