Abstract

The present application provides a cover plate and a battery, where the cover plate is applied to batteries. The cover plate includes a plurality of ribs, each rib extends outward from the center of the cover plate along a radial direction of the cover plate, and the plurality of ribs are distributed along a circumferential direction of the cover plate. The cover plate is further provided with a plurality of score grooves, each score groove is provided between two adjacent ribs, and the score grooves are configured to rupture when the internal pressure of the battery exceeds a preset value.
