Abstract

A battery cell manufacturing method of the present disclosure comprises: an insertion step of inserting a cap part into an opening; and a connection step of irradiating a laser at the cap part and a body part so as to connect the cap part to the body part, wherein, a welding bead for connecting the cap part to the body part is formed in the connection step, and the welding bead can satisfy formula 1. (Formula 1) T ≤ D (In formula 1, D is the thickness of a welding bead with respect to the cross-section of a battery cell in the thickness direction of a cap part, and T is the thickness of the cap part.)
