Abstract
A battery cell according to the present invention includes: a cell case accommodating an electrode assembly therein; and a safety vent provided in a venting path of the cell case and including a first vent part configured to be deformed when a pressure inside the cell case reaches a venting pressure, and a second vent part having a lower melting point than the first vent part.
