Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a secondary battery and a battery pack including the same, and the secondary battery according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes an electrode assembly including a plurality of electrodes and a separator stacked on each other; an electrode tab extending from the electrode; a case accommodating the electrode assembly and having a window in an outer surface; and an electrode lead disposed in the case, wherein at least a part of the electrode lead is exposed through the window to conduct electricity from the electrode assembly to outside, and the electrode lead may include a lead portion extending in a stack direction of the plurality of electrodes at one side of the electrode assembly; and a coupling portion extending from the lead portion and to which the electrode tab is coupled.
