Abstract
A battery according to the present disclosure includes an electrode assembly including a first electrode and a second electrode wound around a central axis of a winding center hole with a separator interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; a can housing accommodating the electrode assembly; an electrode terminal electrically connected to the electrode assembly; and a first current collector plate electrically connecting the electrode assembly to the electrode terminal, wherein the first current collector plate is coupled to the electrode terminal by surface-to-surface welding and has at least one communication hole for communication between an inside of the can housing and the winding center hole.
