Abstract
An object is to provide a method of producing a rotor sleeve comprising a fiber-reinforced composite material, which is formed by winding materials around an outer side of a rotor constituting a rotating electrical machine, the method being capable of suppressing yarn breakage and bleeding of a resin composition during a material traveling process. A tensile stress P of 300 MPa or more and 4000 MPa or less is applied to a material including a resin composition and a reinforcing fiber bundle from a certain point in a traveling path of the material, and a region is provided in the path in which the tensile stress P is applied, the region satisfying ΔT < 30°C, where ΔT is a difference between T and Tg represented by the following formula (I), T is a temperature of the material while the tensile stress P is applied, and Tg is a glass transition temperature of the resin composition included in the material: ΔT=T−Tg
