Abstract

The present application discloses a cable locating method for a communication optical cable, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium, belonging to the technical field of communication. The technical solution of the present application includes: in response to applying a preset disturbance stress to an optical cable location to be detected, dynamically detecting polarization state information of a probe light currently transmitted by a target optical cable using a brillouin optical time domain reflectometer connected to the target optical cable; and determining whether an optical cable to be identified at the optical cable location to be detected is the target optical cable according to the dynamically detected polarization state information.
