Abstract

Provided are a method and device for processing a medium access control (MAC) message in a wireless communication system. The device receives a first MAC message for paging, and after receiving the first MAC message, transmits a second MAC message including device to reader (D2R) upper layer data. Further, after transmitting the second MAC message, the device receives a third MAC message including reader to device (R2D) upper layer data. Here, the first MAC message includes device identification information and information indicating presence of the device identification information, and the third MAC message includes information indicating presence of the R2D upper layer data.
