Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an image display apparatus and a system comprising same. The image display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a display; an external apparatus interface unit that communicates with a remote control device; a network interface unit that communicates with at least one server; and a control unit, wherein the control unit may: on the basis that a first command for activating a function of receiving a speech input from the remote control device is received, output, through the display, a predetermined screen including a first object corresponding to the end of the function; on the basis that the speech input is received from the remote control device, output, through the predetermined screen, text corresponding to the speech input that has been received from the remote control device; and on the basis that a second command for selecting the first object is received, process the entire text that has been output through the predetermined screen.
