Abstract

Provided are a method and device for ambient IoT communication in a wireless communication system. The device receives a paging message including first ambient internet of things (AIoT) device identification information, and forwards the first AIoT device identification information included in the paging message to an upper layer. Further, the device receives, from the upper layer, an indication regarding whether the first AIoT device identification information matches. The paging message includes a predetermined field, and based on the predetermined field, the first AIoT device identification information may be forwarded to the upper layer.
