Abstract

The present disclosure provides a communication method, a terminal, a network device, a system, and a medium. The method comprises: sending first information, wherein the first information is used for indicating whether a terminal supports a first capability, and the first capability is a capability of performing measurement on the basis of an effective measurement window (EMW). In the embodiments of the present disclosure, a terminal can send first information to a network device so as to report whether the terminal supports the capability of performing measurement on the basis of an EMW, so that the network device can obtain the capability of the terminal, and performs reasonable resource configuration on the basis of the capability of the terminal.
