Abstract

In a footwear component design device 250, a measurement data acquirer 212 acquires measurement data of a three-dimensional coordinate group indicating an anatomical feature corresponding to a three-dimensional homologous model of a foot shape at least including a sole and a foot side surface of a subject. A model determining unit 222 determines, among multiple three-dimensional homologous models 104, a three-dimensional homologous model 104 similar to a foot shape of the subject by evaluating similarity in coordinates between a three-dimensional coordinate group in the measurement data and a three-dimensional coordinate group in each of the multiple three-dimensional homologous models. A basic design determining unit 232 determines basic design data corresponding to the three-dimensional homologous model 104 determined, among multiple basic design data. A design processing unit 234 generates footwear component design data corresponding to a foot shape of the subject based on the basic design data determined.
