Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a dishwasher (1) and a wash water filter module (47) that secure a wide filtering area and thus provide a higher filtering force by forming a filtering mesh (4731) constituting the wash-water-filter module to have a cross-section in a wave shape having a plurality of valleys (4731v) and ridges (4731p), and effectively detach food residues adhered to a filtering surface by a suction force during a drainage cycle as a suction-force component acting on the food residues in a vertical direction of the filtering surface is increased by forming the filtering mesh to include a truncated-cone shape with an expanding inclined angle (a) that allows an inner diameter and an outer diameter of a horizontal cross-section to gradually increase downward from an upper edge (4731U) to a lower edge (4731B) of the filtering mesh (4731).
