Abstract

The subject-matter of the present disclosure relates to a radiography system (100). The system comprises an imaging device (101) configured to expose a target area (106) to ionizing radiation and capture a radiographic image of the target area, an audio sensor (112) disposed proximate to the target area, and a controller (122) configured to receive an audio signal from the audio sensor, analyse the audio signal, and control an operating state of the imaging device based on the analysed audio signal.
