Abstract

A dental handpiece 100 includes a head portion 11 configured to rotationally drive, about a central axis of a dental treatment tool 15, a bur sleeve 17 that detachably holds the dental treatment tool 15. The bur sleeve 17 is rotatably supported in a housing 31 of the head portion 11 via a rolling bearing 61. The rolling bearing 61 includes an inner ring 63 that supports the bur sleeve 17, an outer ring 65 that is fixed to the housing 31, and a plurality of rolling elements 67 disposed between the inner ring 63 and the outer ring 65. A flow path R2b of a cooling medium that communicates in an axial direction is provided on an outer circumferential surface of the outer ring 65 or inside the outer ring 65.
