Abstract

Provided is a medical device capable of preventing an excessive clearance from being formed with an inner wall of a delivery device when a puncture device is delivered to a target site in a living body, and capable of easily and smoothly performing protrusion of the puncture device from a first lumen of an outer sheath and accommodation of the puncture device into the first lumen of the outer sheath by operating forward and backward movement of a hand handle portion. A medical device 10 is configured to be retractably inserted into a channel 511 of an insertion portion 510 of an endoscope device 500, and includes a puncture device 100, an outer sheath 200 into which the puncture device is inserted, and a hand handle portion 300 disposed on a proximal end side of the puncture device and the outer sheath. The hand handle portion includes a first connection portion 320 connected to the outer sheath, and a second connection portion 330 connected to at least a part of the puncture device and relatively moving forward and backward with respect to the first connection portion to cause a distal end of the puncture device to protrude from a distal end of the outer sheath.
