Abstract

A band saw blade comprises a plurality of spaced apart teeth. The teeth of the band saw blade comprises a tip with a free tip edge, a tooth face and a tooth back. The tip extends via a gullet into the tooth back of the subsequent tooth. The tip comprises that the free tip edge extends into a first section with a first tooth face part of the tooth face, which first face section extends via an intermediate step into a second section with a second tooth face part of the tooth face offset the first tooth face part. The first tooth face part has a first hook angle, and the second tooth face part has a second hook angle, which second hook angle is different from the first hook angle.
