Abstract

A magnet gripper (14) comprises a pair of pole shoes (16, 18), each of which has a magnetically attracting portion (32a) to which a workpiece (W) is magnetically attracted, and which are disposed spaced apart from one another in a first direction, a magnet (35) which is disposed between the pair of pole shoes (16, 18), a rotation mechanism (22) which rotates the magnet (35) about a rotation axis (C) in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a yoke (36) which is disposed between the pair of pole shoes (16, 18) and which collects magnetic flux that is not directed toward the pole shoes (16, 18), wherein the yoke (36) is magnetically separated from the pair of pole shoes (16, 18).
