Abstract

A hand 2 includes: a hand body 3; and fingers 4 that are located on the hand body 3 and open and close. Each of the fingers 4 includes an endless belt 5 that is wound around at least a distal end of the finger 4, is rotationally driven, and contacts a workpiece W. Each of the fingers 4 is elastically displaceable in a first direction X in which the fingers 4 open and close, and elastically displaceable in a second direction Y in which the fingers 4 advance from and retract to the hand body 3.
