Abstract

A ballpoint pen tip includes: a holder having a tubular shape, having a ball house at an interior part, and including a caulking part whose front end part is reduced in diameter toward an inner side; a tapered first tapered surface formed at an outer periphery of the holder; a tapered second tapered surface formed at a front end side of the holder relative to the first tapered surface at the outer periphery of the holder, and having a taper angle of 60° or more, the taper angle being larger than a taper angle of the first tapered surface; a tapered third tapered surface formed at an outer periphery of the caulking part, connected to the second tapered surface, and having a larger taper angle than the taper angle of the second tapered surface; and a writing ball accommodated in the ball house in a state in which a part of the writing ball protrudes from a front end of the holder, and having a protrusion amount from the front end of the holder of 25% or more of a ball diameter.
