Abstract

According to an embodiment, an information management device includes a charging facility candidate extractor configured to extract charging facility candidates that are reachable within a prescribed distance or within a prescribed time from a destination, on the basis of charging facility information including location information of a plurality of charging facilities capable of charging a battery mounted on a mobile object and available time periods of the charging facilities, and a provider configured to provide a user of the mobile object with at least one of a distance between a charging facility candidate determined to be available among the charging facility candidates and the destination and a travel time of the user of the mobile object and location information of the charging facility candidate, on the basis of destination information about the destination, an estimated time of arrival at the destination, and the available time periods. The provider provides the mobile object with first route guidance information from a location of the mobile object to a charging facility selected by the user among the charging facility candidates when information indicating that charging of the battery has started at the charging facility is not acquired and provides a communication terminal used by the user with second route guidance information for moving to the destination when information indicating that charging of the battery has started is acquired.
