Abstract
Occurrence of an accident during access to an accessed portion is prevented. A control method for a work machine 100 that uses an electric motor 2 to be supplied with electric power from a battery unit 1 as a drive source includes: allowing access to a predetermined accessed portion 101 by releasing a lock mechanism 5; and rendering the electric motor 2 in a non-drivable state while the lock mechanism 5 is in a released state.
