Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to improve the aging performance of a plurality of storage battery unit elements by converging variations in age deterioration of the plurality of storage battery unit elements mounted on a railway vehicle. One representative of the present invention is a management device for a railway storage battery, which manages a plurality of storage battery unit elements exchangeably mounted on a railway vehicle, the management device comprising: an in-operation storage battery information acquisition means for acquiring information about the deterioration levels of the plurality of storage battery unit elements mounted on the railway vehicle in operation; an in-storage storage battery information acquisition means for acquiring information about the deterioration levels of a plurality of storage battery unit elements stored outside the railway vehicle; and a storage battery management information display means for displaying information about the deterioration levels of the plurality of storage battery unit elements in operation and in storage.
