Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a washing machine comprising a casing; a water storage tank disposed inside the casing and configured to store water; a washing tub rotatably provided in the water storage tank and configured to load laundry, the washing tub including a drum which has a cylindrical shape, a front cover which has an opening configured to receive laundry, and which is coupled to a front end of the drum, and a rear cover which is coupled to a rear end of the drum; a motor having a rotating shaft that is connected to the rear cover (43) and being configured to rotate the drum; and a plurality of lifters extending in a front-rear direction on an inner circumferential surface of the drum to lift laundry when the drum rotates.
