Abstract

To provide a work machine that can efficiently perform loading work by appropriately positioning the hauling vehicle relative to the work machine. The work machine of the present invention includes a loading preparation support device, which is a controller that supports loading preparation until a hauling vehicle approaches the work machine for loading from the work machine to the hauling vehicle based on the position information of the work machine and the hauling vehicle, and an actuator control device that controls the operation of the work machine's actuator according to commands from the loading preparation support device. The loading preparation support device includes a loadable range calculation section that calculates the loadable range as information indicating the range where the hauling vehicle should stop during loading based on the movable range of the work machine, and a loading possibility determination section that determines the possibility of loading to the hauling vehicle based on the information of the loading portion of the hauling vehicle moved from the standby position based on the loadable range, and the loadable range. The loading possibility determination section determines that loading to the hauling vehicle is possible if the loading portion of the hauling vehicle is included in the loadable range. Then, the work machine starts the loading work to the hauling vehicle by controlling the operation of the actuator with the actuator control device when it is determined that loading to the hauling vehicle is possible.
